January - April
Each New Day Provides us a Wonderous Opportunity to View the Magnificant California Gray Whale as they pass thru the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary During the Winter Months (beginning Mid-December). This Annual Migration leads them to warmer waters of Baja to mate and or give birth and then back to the Alaskan waters by Spring.
January to Mid-February is Prime time for seeing the whales progress with the Southern migration, while late February to April delights us with the return of the Northern Migration often times treating us to sightings of Mother and Calf. With a 95% Success Rate, Sightings may also include a variety of Dolphin or Killer Whales (Orca).
